Affordable homes in Ross on Wye

Between 2013 and 2015, BREE Construction, then trading as Bullock Construction, delivered Smallbrook Gardens for WM Housing, a development of 18 affordable homes in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire. The 1.6 million pound scheme added modern homes to the market town, set within a residential street of mixed housing types.

The development brought forward contemporary, well-designed houses in an affordable scheme that responded to local need in a part of Herefordshire where supply was limited, reflecting the quality of the finished scheme.

A scheme within a changing housing landscape

Smallbrook Gardens was delivered for WM Housing, the housing group whose Festival Housing and Herefordshire Housing arms were active in Ross on Wye at the time. The development was later carried into the portfolios of successor organisations, with the homes now managed under Connexus following a series of mergers.

Herefordshire Council recorded Smallbrook Gardens among its affordable housing developments, underlining the scheme's role in the county's supply. The 18-home development remains a settled part of the residential fabric of Ross on Wye, providing quality affordable housing in a sought-after market town.
