New homes at Crease Drove
At Crease Drove in Crowland, near Peterborough, BREE Construction delivered 50 affordable homes for Platform Housing, working through its New Homes subsidiary Partner Construction. The scheme was brought forward with Waterloo Housing, which became part of Platform Housing, and built on a former soft-drink production site that had stood as a local eyesore.
Planning consent for the 50-home affordable development was secured through South Holland District Council, with the scheme approved alongside other housing in the district. Partner Construction acted as the delivering contractor.
An eyesore site renewed
The development turned a redundant industrial parcel into a settled residential community near Peterborough, with a dedicated management company established for the estate.
By replacing a former production site with affordable housing, the scheme made productive use of brownfield land in Crowland while adding to Platform Housing's affordable supply. The completed development provides homes in a part of Lincolnshire's South Holland district where affordable housing is in demand.
