At Milestone Road in Carterton, Oxfordshire, we are creating a vibrant new neighbourhood that meets the needs of its community and provides them with high-quality homes, great facilities on their doorstep and excellent public spaces in which to relax and connect.
On behalf of Platform Housing Group, we will deliver 200 mixed-tenure homes and apartments in a safe and welcoming environment where the community can flourish.
A high-quality development to meet a range of housing needs
The development is 100% affordable, providing a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and apartments in the shared ownership, rent to buy, affordable rent and social rent space.
Offering the perfect blend of modern living and the tranquillity of the countryside, the project will significantly benefit the local community, providing affordable housing, further extending housing supply and will directly contribute to the local area in the form of a £1.2 million payment to Oxfordshire County Council, and a further half a million to West Oxfordshire District Council towards the costs of providing community and social infrastructure.
A collaborative partnership providing truly affordable homes
This will be the fifth development BREE Construction (formerly United Living) and Platform Housing have undertaken together having already gained valuable experience working together on:
- Oldbury Road, Worcester – 24 affordable homes - Crease Drive, Peterborough – 50 affordable/shared homes - Alcorn Green, Lincolnshire – 42 affordable/shared homes - Witney, West Oxfordshire – 73 affordable/shared homes
The project is scheduled to be delivered over several phases and expected to complete in late 2026.
